If this were played upon a stage now, I could condemn it as an improbable fiction (Twelfth Night)
Alan Ayckbourn's hilarious comedy features one of his most daring ideas yet. Six aspiring yet, truthfully, hopeless authors meet to discuss their work. Among them are writers of historical romances and children’s literature who are finding it difficult to start writing, and a crime writer who can’t stop. A creator of extremely complicated science fiction, a librettist without a musical partner and the chairman, who can only produce tedious instruction booklets, make up the rest of the team. This ill assorted bunch find themselves at a loss as to how to proceed until mysteriously they find themselves entering the worlds of their own creation.
