Injured in a car-crash, bedridden Ken is totally paralysed and faced with a future of total dependence on a life-support machine. He insists on his right to end his life. This play examines the moral and legal issues with intelligence, humour, and humanity as both patient and hospital are forced to confront the dilemma of a medical profession committed to save life on the one hand, and an individual claiming the right to make his own decisions about his life on the other.
